Melbourne City Mission ACN 159 596 782 (MCM) is the fundholder in a consortium comprising Austin Health, Banksia Palliative Care Service, Melbourne City Mission, Melbourne Health, Mercy Health, Northern Health, Western Health called the North and West Metropolitan Region Palliative Care Consortium (Consortium).
MCM and the members of the Consortium are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with all applicable Australian privacy laws including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic) and the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic).

Your personal information
The main types of information we collect through the Consortium website are email addresses for the purposes of newsletter subscriptions/distribution, along with associated names and if relevant, work/job titles, volunteer roles or other categories designed to assist in targeting information provision. From time to time, other information such as phone contact numbers or location/postal address details may be sought.

If you provide us with information, it is stored securely and only accessed by staff authorised by MCM or other Consortium members. We use a range of hardware and software security measures to protect our information and ensure that only authorised staff are granted access.

We will not provide your personal information to any other individuals or organisations without your prior consent except where required by law to do so. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your information is not used in a manner inconsistent with the Australian Privacy Principles as set out in the Privacy Act 1988.
